Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center (SMPC) provides medical services, reproductive health education and support at no cost to its clients, empowering our community to make healthy life choices - physically, emotionally and spiritually - in a confidential and caring environment. In 2020, SMPC served more than 900 clients without any interruption during the pandemic. In addition to medical services such as pregnancy tests, ultrasound exams, an annual Women’s Wellness program, and behavioral health, SMPC provides parenting education programs including: parenting classes in-person, on-line, and, via video teleconferencing. Participants in the education programs receive points that can be used to obtain pampers, wipes and baby’s clothes. The SMPC programs help moms and babies plus contributes to building stronger families in our community.
